UAV Engineer

Overview

The 422nd Separate Rifle Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit was formed in 2023 in Ternopil region and took part in fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The unit is looking for conscientious and motivated citizens who are ready to learn, grow, and together liberate the territories of Ukraine from the russian occupiers.

Responsibilities:

• performing basic tasks of assembling, repairing, and maintaining FPV drones
• hardware and software modernization of UAVs
• inspecting UAVs upon arrival
• analyzing problems and finding solutions to resolve them
• caring for equipment, keeping it in proper condition, and performing minor repairs

Requirements:

• a high level of motivation and desire to develop
• age up to 45
• skills in repairing electronic equipment
• computer literacy at a confident user level
• engineering or technical education will be an advantage
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• knowledge of foreign languages will be an advantage
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service in the active combat zone
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment
• provision of full meals
• the prospect of career growth, development of leadership skills and foreign language knowledge
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the zone of task performance and combat orders
• additional monetary allowance for 30 days spent on the line of combat contact
• free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
• social protection and guaranteed life insurance of 15 million hryvnias
