Driver-Mechanic

Overview

The 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa is a mechanized formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The vacancy involves service in the 2nd Self-Propelled Artillery Battalion of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit's soldiers are currently defending the Ukrainian Donbas.

Responsibilities:

• working in the field
• controlling self-propelled artillery
• checking the technical condition before, during, and after a combat mission
• keeping the self-propelled gun in proper technical condition
• basic repair of self-propelled artillery
• carrying out combat operations on the gun

Requirements:

• physical fitness
• military service experience will be an advantage
• ability to operate tractor vehicles will be an advantage
• experience operating tracked vehicles will be an advantage
• category B, C, D license will be an advantage
• welding skills and knowledge of electronics will be an advantage
• age up to 40
• no alcohol or drug dependency

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• training before combat deployments
• monetary allowance of 20,000-30,000 hryvnias depending on length of service and rank + combat pay from 30,000 to 100,000 hryvnias depending on the intensity of combat tasks performed
