Scout-Operator, Technical Reconnaissance Equipment

Overview

The 5th Separate Kyiv Assault Brigade is a military formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, established in 2022. Since the start of the russian invasion of Ukraine, the brigade has taken part in fighting near Lysychansk, Siversk, Vuhledar, Horlivka, Maiorske, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, and Klishchiivka. The unit is mostly equipped with Western weapons and equipment. Its permanent duty station is the city of Kyiv.

Responsibilities:

• conducting reconnaissance using technical reconnaissance equipment (optoelectronic, radar, and reconnaissance-signaling)
• maintaining and configuring technical reconnaissance equipment
• conducting terrain reconnaissance
• continuous search for new technical solutions
• continuous professional development at training centers

Requirements:

• age 18 to 50
• secondary, vocational secondary/higher education; preference given to candidates with technical specialties, IT
• ability to concentrate on repetitive processes for extended periods
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• willingness to constantly learn and develop

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• the opportunity to regularly advance your skills and train on various types of reconnaissance equipment
• full materiel provision of advanced gear and equipment
• monetary allowance from 22,000 to 192,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
