UAV Operator
Overview
The Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade was formed on the basis of two units: a separate strike unmanned aerial systems company and a UAV platoon that was part of the "Murchyky 57 RR" reconnaissance company. These units have extensive combat experience gained over the years of the full-scale russian-Ukrainian war.
Responsibilities:
- carrying out reconnaissance missions using unmanned aerial vehicles
- operating the UAV and gathering information via video and photo capture
- analyzing and processing received information for further use in operational planning
- compliance with UAV operating rules and safety procedures
- carrying out combat missions using strike drones and kamikaze drones
Requirements:
- no contraindications for military service and for performing the duties of an external pilot (operator) of unmanned aerial vehicles
- secondary, vocational secondary/higher education
- self-discipline, willingness to learn and improve
- ability to work with a computer and software
- a high level of motivation and stress resistance
- spatial orientation and ability to identify objects
- responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to make quick decisions
- experience will be an additional bonus, but its absence is not a problem
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen from other military units and formations with the direct commander's consent
- service in the combat operations zone
- stable payment of monetary allowance and additional rewards proportional to participation in combat tasks, from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias
- training and drills are provided to hone UAV piloting skills
