Operator-Gunner, IFV
Overview
The 225th Separate Assault Regiment is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit was formed on March 8, 2022, as a battalion within the 127th Territorial Defense Brigade, made up of volunteers from Kharkiv who stood up to defend the state and their home city. In July 2023, the unit left the Territorial Defense Forces and became a Separate Assault Battalion, and in February 2025 it expanded into a regiment. The commanders of the 225th Regiment have extensive combat experience. Its service members actively use drones and other cutting-edge equipment so that machines take the risks, not soldiers.
Responsibilities:
- mastering and acquiring skills in operating an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) during movement and combat
- carrying out the instructions of the senior crew member and management on the maintenance of the IFV
- aiming and operating IFV weaponry, namely the main gun, machine guns, and anti-tank weapons (if equipped)
- cooperating with other crew and team members to achieve common goals and tasks
- support and maintenance of firearms and special equipment
Requirements:
- experience as a BMP-1, BMP-2 gunner-operator will be an advantage
- age from 18
- ability to quickly learn new material and follow instructions
- high level of responsibility and attention to detail
- good physical health and ability to work in conditions associated with military service
- readiness to learn and follow management's instructions
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task, rank, and place of service
- training and preparation in special courses to acquire the necessary skills
- support in processing paperwork at the TCC
