Combat Medic

Overview

The vacancy involves service in the 2nd Rifle Battalion of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Ivan Mazepa of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit has been carrying out combat missions in the Donetsk and Kharkiv sectors.

Responsibilities:

• providing urgent pre-medical aid and performing medical procedures, namely stopping bleeding, applying dressings, and immobilizing injured body parts at temporary medical posts on the front line
• conducting tactical medicine training for personnel
• compliance with military discipline and execution of orders
• outpatient care and consultative assistance for unit personnel

Requirements:

• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• a high level of motivation and stress resistance
• willingness to learn and work according to international standards for providing emergency medical care
• responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to make quick decisions
• completion of prior training courses will be an advantage
• secondary medical education will be an advantage
• willingness to constantly learn and develop
• military service experience and combat experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
• service in the active combat zone
