Overview

The 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2023. Since the summer of 2023, the unit's soldiers have successfully carried out combat missions in eastern Ukraine in the area of the Serebrianskyi forest and in the Bakhmut sector. Since May 2024, the brigade has been defending Kharkiv region.

Responsibilities:

• compliance with executive discipline
• preparing tasty and nutritious food
• compliance with rules for primary and thermal food processing, as well as cooking technology rules
• continuously improving culinary skills and abilities, raising one's own qualification

Requirements:

• specialized education and relevant work experience
• good physical fitness
• ability to cook tasty food
• ability to calculate the required quantity of food and knowledge of recipes
• knowledge of the rules for portioning (assembling) meals and the terms and conditions for storing food
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance including additional reward from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• stable gear and food provision
• guaranteed annual main leave
