Artillery Platoon Commander
Overview
The Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi is a military unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has defended Kyiv since the first days and steadfastly holds the defense in the most critical sectors in the east of the country. The vacancy involves service in the brigade's artillery battalion. Commanding a self-propelled artillery platoon. Responsibilities:
- effective management of platoon personnel
- commanding and maintaining all types of weapons used by the platoon
- monitoring the proper operation and storage of weapons
- organizing periodic team training and drills
- cooperating with adjacent units, communicating with management
- working with the relevant documentation
- successfully carrying out combat missions
Requirements:
- age from 25
- vocational secondary/higher education, technical education will be an advantage
- officer's rank
- military service experience will be an advantage, and in a similar position it will be a significant advantage
- knowledge of the main conditions and rules for operating, using, and storing artillery weapons
- fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities, good physical condition
- ability to take responsibility for completing tasks
- ability to work in a team and care about the social-psychological climate in the unit
- self-confidence, perseverance, and initiative
- desire to join the ranks of the legendary Separate Presidential Brigade
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- quality basic military training, possibly abroad
- quality specialized training, possibly abroad
- we provide training on all courses required for the position
- ongoing internal specialized training and skills advancement
- stable monetary allowance from 23,000 to 123,000 hryvnias + additional monetary payments and rewards, under the law on social protection of servicemen
