Mechanic, Support Platoon

Overview

The Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi is a military unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has defended Kyiv since the first days and steadfastly holds the defense in the most critical sectors in the east of the country. The vacancy involves service in the brigade's artillery battalion. The key task of this position is the maintenance and repair of high-mobility vehicles. Responsibilities:

• maintaining, performing situational repairs, engine adjustment, and configuring auxiliary and special technical equipment of transport and heavy machinery, including under extreme conditions
• receiving and participating in the installation of new equipment
• maintaining relevant documentation
• informing management of identified faults during the operation or inspection of standard-issue transport
• providing management with proposals for optimizing and improving work efficiency
• cooperating with the team

Requirements:

• age from 25
• basic general secondary education, technical or specialized education will be an advantage
• military service experience will be an advantage
• fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
• knowledge of the main operating principles of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, combined, fuel and lubrication, braking, and control and protection systems
• knowledge of detection methods, main causes, and troubleshooting of faults that arose during vehicle operation
• ability to work in a team
• desire to join the ranks of the legendary Separate Presidential Brigade

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service

• stable monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias + additional monetary payments and rewards under the law on social protection of servicemen
