Scout-Rangefinder Operator
Overview
The Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi is a military unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has defended Kyiv since the first days and steadfastly holds the defense in the most critical sectors in the east of the country. The vacancy involves service in the brigade's artillery battalion. Scout-rangefinder operator is one of the most important professions in a modern army! The key task of this position is providing reconnaissance and controlling territory. "Who controls information, controls the world," Winston Churchill once said. It is the scout-rangefinder operator who, using instruments — thermal imaging, optical, electro-optical — gathers vital information for their unit, allowing it to advance and strike the enemy with great precision. Responsibilities:
- detecting and determining the coordinates of enemy firing groups and concentrations of personnel and equipment
- detecting and determining the coordinates of obstacles and other hazards
- determining the location of forward units, strongpoints, defensive structures, and obstacles
- detecting and determining the coordinates of command posts and observation posts, and other similar above- and underground elements
- working with special equipment and instruments
- cooperating with the team
- working with the relevant documentation
Requirements:
- age from 25
- basic general secondary education, technical education or education in geodesy and topography will be an advantage
- military service experience will be an advantage
- fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
- attentiveness, observation, and accuracy
- ability to work in a team
- desire to join the ranks of the legendary Separate Presidential Brigade
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- quality basic military training

- stable monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias + additional monetary payments and rewards under the law on social protection of servicemen
