UAV Operator

Overview

The 143rd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based in Chernihiv region. The brigade is part of the "North" Operational Command. This vacancy is for service in the brigade's unmanned systems battalion. The unit was formed around a team with combat experience in various sectors of the front, one that not only operates UAVs but also builds them in-house.

Responsibilities:

• conducting aerial reconnaissance of enemy positions
• adjusting artillery fire on enemy positions and equipment
• providing escort for groups from other units while carrying out tasks
• destroying the enemy using strike drones and FPVs
• decoding and analyzing data obtained during reconnaissance
• maintaining various types of drones and their equipment for operation

Requirements:

• basic level of understanding of technologies and drone operating principles
• ability to work with mobile applications and electronic devices
• no critical health problems that could affect task performance
• ability and desire to learn new things
• readiness to work in the combat zone
• strong motivation and drive to succeed in accomplishing assigned tasks
• experience working with UAVs will be an advantage
• technical skills will be an advantage
• basic knowledge of English will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• completion of general military and specialized training before being assigned tasks
• technical and materiel provision
• the opportunity to regularly advance your skills, train on various types of unmanned aerial vehicles, and receive state-issued certificates
• the opportunity to learn related skills: tactical training, sapper and engineering work, tactics and use of small UAV groups, and much more
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the place and period of task performance

• support during the Regional TCC stage, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit of the 143rd Separate Brigade
