Master EOD Technician, UAV

Overview

The 143rd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based in Chernihiv region. The brigade is part of the "North" Operational Command. This vacancy is for service in the brigade's unmanned systems battalion. The unit was formed around a team with combat experience in various sectors of the front, one that not only operates UAVs but also builds them in-house.

Responsibilities:

• working with strike drone and kamikaze drone crews, mounting explosives, checking and ensuring compliance with safety rules
• compliance with rules for the technical maintenance and operation of weapons
• making improvised explosive devices from explosives and metal-plastic structures
• checking, installing, and improving detonation initiation systems
• keeping one's workplace, assigned equipment, and other property clean and in exemplary condition
• conducting daily inspection and preparation of tools and equipment for work

Requirements:

• no contraindications for military service and for performing the duties of the position
• secondary, vocational secondary, basic higher, or higher education
• knowledge of weapons and ammunition
• self-discipline, willingness to learn and improve
• a high level of motivation and stress resistance
• spatial orientation and ability to identify objects
• responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to make quick decisions
• experience working with explosive devices will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization or contract service
• completion of general military and specialized training before being assigned tasks
• training and drills are provided to hone the skills of an engineer munitions specialist
• technical and materiel provision
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the place and period of task performance
• annual paid leave
• support during the Regional TCC stage, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit of the 143rd Separate Brigade
