Driver-Mechanic

Overview

The Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi is a military unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has defended Kyiv since the first days and steadfastly holds the defense in the most critical sectors in the east of the country.

Responsibilities:

• maintaining, performing situational repairs and engine adjustment, configuring auxiliary and special technical equipment, including under extreme conditions
• participating in installing new equipment
• safe vehicle operation
• transporting personnel, cargo, ammunition, and other military equipment
• maintaining relevant documentation
• cooperating with the team

Requirements:

• age from 25 (exceptions possible)
• basic general secondary education, technical or specialized education will be an advantage
• at least 1 year of experience driving vehicles
• driver's license category B/C; having a category above C will be an advantage
• military service experience will be an advantage
• fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
• knowledge of the main operating principles of key vehicle systems
• knowledge of the main causes and methods of eliminating faults that arise during vehicle operation
• ability to work in a team
• desire to join the ranks of the legendary Separate Presidential Brigade and the 23rd Separate Battalion

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• quality basic military training
• quality specialized training
• ongoing internal specialized training and skills advancement
• stable monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias + additional monetary payments and rewards
• free medical care for servicemen and their families, sanatorium and resort treatment
• full provision — meals, ammunition, and equipment
