The 61st Separate Mechanized Stepova (Steppe) Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, established in 2015.

creating operation plans and distributing tasks among platoon/squad members
directing military actions during combat operations, namely offense, defense, or special operations
establishing and maintaining effective communication and interaction with other military units and command staff
making decisions in complex combat conditions and taking measures to achieve set goals
conducting training and instruction to improve the combat readiness and skills of platoon/squad members
maintaining discipline and a high level of morale within the unit

contract service
monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias based on task performance and combat orders
