Artillery Platoon Commander

Overview

The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• keeping the platoon's personnel, weapons, and equipment in constant combat readiness
• conducting combat training classes with the platoon's personnel and supervising the training of enlisted personnel conducted by squad leaders (gun commanders), keeping records of the platoon's combat training
• maintaining constant awareness of platoon tactics in various types of combat and managing the platoon during combat missions
• proper storage, operation, maintenance, and personal verification of the combat readiness of the platoon's weapons and equipment
• continuous improvement of one's professional and methodological skills, setting an exemplary example for subordinates in performing military duty

Requirements:

• age from 22
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• thorough knowledge of and proficiency with all types of weapons and equipment of the platoon
• higher education
• willingness to constantly learn and develop
• officer rank (MOS 030400-030600)

Conditions:

• official mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care
