Overview

The 118th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade takes an active part in combat operations in southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit in the combat zone
• maintaining and preparing the gun, other weapons, and ammunition load for combat use, bringing up ammunition for firing
• keeping personal and issued weapons, their mechanisms, and ammunition serviceable and combat-ready
• acquiring and maintaining a high level of fire and professional training
• continuous improvement of acquired skills, both independently and at training centers

Requirements:

• age from 18
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• willingness to constantly learn and develop

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the performance of combat tasks and orders
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• guidance during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit
• social protection and guaranteed insurance
• leave in accordance with current legislation
• training both in Ukraine and abroad
