Overview

The 118th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade takes an active part in combat operations in southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• commanding and training servicemen in the unit
• participating in military exercises and training
• ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the unit's activities
• keeping personnel and equipment in constant combat readiness
• responsibility for training, drill bearing, and improving the physical endurance of personnel
• managing the platoon's combat operations in various scenarios, ensuring task execution, monitoring the situation's development, and making operational decisions
• ensuring the preservation of weapons, ammunition, and other materiel of the platoon

Requirements:

• age from 18
• military service experience in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• high level of military-tactical training

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the performance of combat tasks and orders
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• guidance during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit
• social protection and guaranteed insurance
• leave in accordance with current legislation
• training both in Ukraine and abroad
