Senior Technician

Overview

The 118th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade takes an active part in combat operations in southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

  • organizing scheduled and emergency repair, maintenance, and evacuation of faulty motor vehicles
  • managing technical teams or groups
  • repairing and restoring equipment to working condition in accordance with established standards and procedures
  • keeping records of and writing off fuel and lubricants and spare parts

Requirements:

  • age from 18
  • fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
  • higher technical or vocational secondary education
  • experience in the operation and repair of automotive equipment
  • understanding of document management, accounting, and write-off of fuel and lubricants and spare parts
  • a high level of self-discipline and self-organization

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the performance of combat tasks and orders
  • provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
  • guidance during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit
  • social protection and guaranteed insurance
  • leave in accordance with current legislation
  • training both in Ukraine and abroad
