UAV Pilot-Navigator

Overview

The 2nd Assault Battalion "HONEYBADGER" is part of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kish Otaman Ivan Sirko, which has a ten-year history of defending the state on all fronts. The battalion took up combat positions on the eve of the invasion and has waged a daily struggle for our state's independence ever since. The battalion's service members have held the defense in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Bakhmut, and Lyman areas, and have taken part in liberating Sloboda Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• piloting fixed-wing and multirotor UAVs, and FPV kamikaze drones
• preparing all types of UAVs for flight
• working with topographic maps, specialized software, and orienteering sport experience for navigators
• orientation in flight, on terrain, and target detection

Requirements:

• experience piloting drones or fixed-wing UAVs is desired, but you will be fully trained
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• high level of responsibility and attention to detail
• experience working with topographic maps and general knowledge of topography preferred
• ability and willingness to work with maps in various coordinate systems
• readiness to learn and engage in self-improvement
• ability to work in a team and complete tasks in extreme conditions

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• service in the combat zone
• training before taking up the position
