Deputy Combat Vehicle Commander

Overview

The 118th Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade takes an active part in combat operations in southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• supporting the commander in leading the crew and coordinating actions in his absence
• using navigation systems to precisely determine location and direct the combat vehicle onto the target
• carrying out specialized tasks, including gathering and analyzing information, and providing communications
• managing the work of subordinate crew members, resolving conflict situations, and making decisions in combat conditions

Requirements:

• age from 18
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• education: secondary, vocational secondary/higher
• sergeant rank (in accordance with current legislation and the standards of the Armed Forces of Ukraine)
• experience using combat vehicles and navigation systems

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the performance of combat tasks and orders
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• guidance during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit
• social protection and guaranteed insurance
• leave in accordance with current legislation
• training both in Ukraine and abroad
