Radio Operator

Overview

The 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2023. Since the summer of 2023, the unit's soldiers have successfully carried out combat missions in eastern Ukraine in the area of the Serebrianskyi forest and in the Bakhmut sector. Since May 2024, the brigade has been defending Kharkiv region.

Responsibilities:

  • ensuring communication between military units using radios, phones, and other communication equipment
  • receiving and transmitting messages, commands, and information between command, units, and other military units
  • performing maintenance and adjustment of radio equipment to ensure reliable and effective communication

Requirements:

  • age from 18
  • a high level of motivation and stress resistance
  • fitness for military service
  • knowledge of radio telephony and technical aspects of working with radio communication, including the organization of military communications
  • ability to work in a team
  • high level of responsibility

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
  • training before taking up the position
  • monetary allowance from 20,000 to 195,000 hryvnias depending on rank, position, and the specifics of combat task performance
  • support during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit
  • a full social package
