Head of Psychological Support Group
Overview
The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- cooperating with commanders and other members of the military unit to provide psychological support and preventive measures
- evaluating and promptly responding to changes in personnel's psychological state
- diagnosing and providing initial psychological assistance in cases of combat stress or combat-related psychological trauma among unit servicemen
- preventing negative changes in the serviceman's psyche
- conducting measures to restore the psychological readiness and resilience of servicemen
- organizing the operation of the psychological aid center
- conducting psychological preparation measures for the unit's personnel prior to combat missions
- evaluating and promptly responding to changes in personnel's psychological readiness and resilience
- assisting unit commanders in working with the team, resolving possible conflicts and disputes
- psychoprophylactic work, including organizing various activities aimed at improving the morale and psychological state
- preparing reports on the morale and psychological state of personnel
Requirements:
- age from 21
- an officer's position
- higher education in the relevant professional field of "Psychology" or "Sociology"
- experience in psychological support and working with people
- fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
- motivation to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
- developed communication skills
- having combat experience will be an advantage
- experience serving as a morale and psychological support officer will be an advantage
- readiness to serve alongside the unit in the combat zone
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
