Medical Instructor

Overview

The Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi is a military unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has defended Kyiv since the first days and steadfastly holds the defense in the most critical sectors in the east of the country. The brigade's servicemen are not only full of faith and confidence in victory, but also work continuously, side by side, to achieve it. The vacancy involves service as part of one of the mechanized battalions. A medical instructor is one of those "pillars" that hold up the combat spirit and confidence of fellow soldiers. So what matters most in this job is fellow soldiers who are healthy in body and spirit, with fully stocked first-aid kits, trained in self-aid and buddy-aid. If you are motivated, ready to work for victory, able to make responsible decisions quickly, and know how to be persuasive — this job is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • monitoring the unit's personnel health, complying with hygiene requirements, and conducting preventive measures
  • providing first aid for wounds and injuries in combat conditions
  • managing medical equipment and first-aid kits
  • organizing and conducting regular tactical medicine training in the unit
  • organizing the evacuation of sick and/or wounded personnel
  • cooperating with the team
  • cooperating with medics from other units, adjacent units
  • working with the relevant documentation

Requirements:

  • age from 20
  • vocational secondary/higher medical education will be an advantage
  • possession of ASM, CLS, CMC certificates and completed training will be a significant advantage
  • knowledge and understanding of pre-medical first aid protocols
  • military service experience will be an advantage
  • fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities, good physical condition
  • readiness to work in the combat zone
  • ability to work in a team
  • desire to join the ranks of the legendary Separate Presidential Brigade

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • quality basic military training, possibly abroad
  • quality specialized training, possibly abroad
  • ongoing internal specialized training and skills advancement
  • stable monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the tasks performed and their location
  • additional monetary payments and rewards in accordance with the servicemen's social protection program
  • free medical care for servicemen, sanatorium and resort treatment
  • full provision of meals, ammunition, and equipment
  • motivated team, support from fellow soldiers, and reasonable leadership
