Psychological Support Group Officer

Overview

The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

  • participating in planning and conducting trainings and seminars on psychological support
  • coordinating actions with command to support the psychological health of servicemen
  • maintaining documentation and reports on work performed
  • organizing the operation of a facility for physical and psychological rest and relief
  • escorting and referring servicemen who need more advanced care to specialized medical institutions
  • conducting psychological preparation measures for the unit's personnel prior to combat missions
  • evaluating and promptly responding to changes in personnel's psychological readiness and resilience
  • providing qualified first aid as a psychologist and accompanying/referring service members needing more in-depth help to a specialized medical facility
  • participating in the rehabilitation and resocialization of servicemen into civilian life

Requirements:

  • age from 21
  • officer's rank
  • desire to work in a psychological support and recovery group
  • willingness to learn and develop in this field
  • ability to collaborate with colleagues and management
  • strong work ethic and professionalism
  • responsibility and ability to work under stressful conditions
  • experience as a psychologist or HR specialist
  • higher education in psychology/psychotherapy/psychiatry will be an advantage
  • strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different people
  • managerial and organizational experience will be an advantage
  • stress resilience

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
  • social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care
