Medical Instructor, Medical Station

Overview

The 1st Mechanized Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has a worthy history of defending the state on all fronts. The battalion wages a daily struggle for the independence of our state. Its service members have held the defense in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.

Responsibilities:

  • participating in the evacuation of the wounded
  • monitoring personnel's health
  • working at the evacuation point
  • providing pre-medical and first aid
  • training personnel in medical aid skills
  • maintaining the medical station's documentation

Requirements:

  • readiness to perform tasks in the combat operations area
  • knowledge of the basics of tactical medicine and emergency care
  • satisfactory physical condition
  • high level of executive discipline
  • stress resilience
  • fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
  • desire to constantly learn and improve one's abilities
  • medical education or experience serving as a combat medic will be an advantage

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
  • leave in accordance with current legislation
  • possible career growth for proper performance of duties
  • full provision of necessary gear and equipment, full meals
