Tank Platoon Commander

Overview

The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• responsibility for the platoon's combat readiness, the successful completion of its combat missions, and combat training
• keeping the platoon's personnel, weapons, and equipment in constant combat readiness
• conducting combat training classes with the platoon's personnel
• commanding the platoon during combat missions
• monitoring servicemen's compliance with military discipline in the platoon
• monitoring the availability, proper operation, maintenance, and preservation of weapons, equipment, gear, uniforms, and other property in the platoon
• preparing platoon personnel, weapons, and equipment for each exercise or training session, and checking their presence and condition upon return from training

Requirements:

• age from 21
• readiness to work directly in the zone of active combat operations
• possession of an officer's rank
• high level of military discipline and responsibility
• ability to quickly make decisions in stressful situations
• experience working with various types of weapons preferred
• knowledge of the operating principles of tank and military equipment
• military service experience preferred
• good physical fitness

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
