Driver-Mechanic

Overview

The 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was one of the first to stand in defense of Ukrainian land in 2014. In 2022, during the repelling of the russian invasion of Ukraine, the unit engaged russian forces in Mykolaiv region, and the enemy retreated with heavy losses. The brigade took part in fighting in the Kherson sector and in liberating the right bank of Kherson region. The unit currently holds the defense on the country's eastern frontiers. This vacancy is for service in the anti-aircraft missile and artillery battalion.

Responsibilities:

• operating and performing maintenance on the MT-LB
• supporting equipment and troubleshooting faults, refueling, changing oil, and performing other maintenance work
• keeping the vehicle in constant readiness for operation
• cooperating with other crew members to achieve common goals

Requirements:

• experience serving as a driver-mechanic in defense units, or civilian experience as a long-haul truck driver, tractor operator, or at an auto service station
• fitness for military service
• age from 20
• desire to work in the military field and be part of the unit
• stress resilience and ability to make decisions in extreme situations
• readiness for physical exertion and compliance with the requirements of military routine
• discipline and ability to work as part of a team

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service

• social guarantees, provision of gear, free meals, etc.
• training of 2 months or more before service
• service in eastern Ukraine in a surface-to-air missile and artillery battalion of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade
• transfer of current servicemen is NOT considered
