Resident Physician
Overview
The 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstyslav the Bold of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was formed on April 18, 2022. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the servicemen of the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade have been defending Ukrainian land from russian armed aggression. In October 2022, the brigade took part in the liberation of the settlements of Lyman in the Donetsk region, Makiivka, and Nevske in the Luhansk region, among others. The brigade continues to effectively carry out combat missions and liberate occupied territories of Ukraine. The unit is looking for level-headed, motivated people. Lack of experience is not a problem. You will be taught, shown, and helped.
Responsibilities:
- outpatient care for personnel
- providing advisory assistance to personnel
- maintaining medical document flow: preparing referrals and keeping records and medical charts
- carrying out tasks at the battalion/brigade stabilization point in case of deployment to the combat zone
Requirements:
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- ability to work in a team
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- higher medical education in therapy, family medicine, traumatology, or neurology
- experience in the medical field
- primary diagnosis of wounds
- willingness to constantly learn and develop
- responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to make quick decisions
Conditions:
- direct mobilization into the military unit until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 21,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks, where they are performed, and rank + supplement of 70,000 hryvnias for every 30 days (calculated cumulatively) of task performance on the front line
- provision of training or skills improvement, with the necessary support to gain sufficient experience and skills
- proper medical care
- leave according to schedule and, where family circumstances defined by law exist
- legal support and psychological guidance
- candidates with combat experience from 2014-2024 are placed directly into the unit without basic combined-arms training (optional); specialized training is guaranteed if needed
