Driver-Mechanic

Overview

The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• operating vehicles
• repair (maintenance) of wheeled and tracked vehicles
• monitoring technical condition, timely repair, and maintenance of the vehicle
• continuous maintenance of the vehicle in combat readiness
• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit

Requirements:

• possession of a category B, C driver's license
• ability to operate and maintain tracked vehicles
• age from 25
• knowledge of traffic rules and the ability to follow them
• prior military service or willingness to undergo military service
• responsible attitude toward completing assigned tasks
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• willingness to constantly learn and develop

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care
• social and legal protection guarantees for servicemen and their family members
• provision of all necessary supplies and equipment, full meals
• annual monetary wellness assistance
• annual assistance for resolving social and household issues
