Gunner-Operator, Combat Vehicle

Overview

The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• inspecting, preparing, and loading ammunition
• maintaining the working condition of weapons and their servicing
• carrying out the unit's combat missions
• using navigation systems to precisely determine location and direct the combat vehicle onto the target
• mastering and acquiring skills in operating a combat vehicle during movement and combat
• cooperating with other crew and team members to achieve common goals and tasks

Requirements:

• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
• knowledge of the relevant weapons and the ability to operate them
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• motivation to destroy the enemy
• experience as a BMP-1, BMP-2, BRDM-2 gunner-operator will be an advantage
• age from 18
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• willingness to constantly learn and develop

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care
• social and legal protection guarantees for servicemen and their family members
• provision of all necessary supplies and equipment, full meals
• annual monetary wellness assistance
• annual assistance for resolving social and household issues
