IFV/APC Driver-Mechanic

Overview

The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• operating the IFV or APC combat vehicle on the battlefield and in the active combat zone
• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• maintaining the combat vehicle, performing inspections and minor repairs
• keeping equipment combat-ready
• cooperating and carrying out orders from higher command

Requirements:

• readiness to work in the area of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• possession of a category B driver's license; category C and others will be an advantage
• age from 18
• experience operating tracked vehicles will be an advantage
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• responsibility, attentiveness, and ability to make quick decisions
• ability to work as part of a team

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care
• social and legal protection guarantees for servicemen and their family members
• provision of all necessary supplies and equipment, full meals
• annual monetary wellness assistance
• annual assistance for resolving social and household issues
• Combat Veteran status
