Overview

The 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2023. Since the summer of 2023, the unit's soldiers have successfully carried out combat missions in eastern Ukraine in the area of the Serebrianskyi forest and in the Bakhmut sector. Since May 2024, the brigade has been defending Kharkiv region.

Responsibilities:

• providing first aid in combat conditions and in the near rear
• evacuation of the wounded and work at the stabilization point
• keeping records of the unit's sick and wounded and their documentation
• keeping records of unit medical property
• ensuring proper sanitary and hygienic conditions at the medical station

Requirements:

• age from 25
• secondary medical education (paramedic); higher medical education will be an advantage
• experience as a paramedic/doctor will be an advantage
• knowledge of the basics of tactical medicine and emergency care
• proficiency in English preferred but not required
• stress resilience, initiative, discipline, and decency
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 22,000 to 194,000 hryvnias depending on rank, position, and the specifics of combat task performance
• support during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit
• a full social package
