Mechanic

Overview

The 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2023. Since the summer of 2023, the unit's soldiers have successfully carried out combat missions in eastern Ukraine in the area of the Serebrianskyi forest and in the Bakhmut sector. Since May 2024, the brigade has been defending Kharkiv region.

Responsibilities:

• repair and maintenance of motor vehicles
• performing scheduled and unscheduled repair work
• monitoring the condition of equipment and compliance with regulatory requirements for its operation
• ensuring the timely and quality performance of work in accordance with assigned tasks

Requirements:

• age from 18
• experience repairing automotive equipment
• willingness to learn
• fitness for military service
• ability to work with various types of tools and equipment
• responsibility, organization, and attentiveness to detail
• ability to work in a team

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 22,000 to 194,000 hryvnias depending on rank, position, and the specifics of combat task performance
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• support during the Military Medical Commission stage at the Regional TCC, ensuring enlistment specifically in the relevant unit
• a full social package
