Overview

The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• destroying and suppressing enemy personnel
• clearly carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• keeping weapons and equipment in constant combat readiness
• recognizing and identifying targets that may pose a threat to the unit
• strict adherence to military discipline and execution of team orders

Requirements:

• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• good physical shape, endurance, and stress resistance
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• ability to work in extreme conditions and make decisions in stressful situations

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care
• social and legal protection guarantees for servicemen and their family members
• provision of all necessary supplies and equipment, full meals
• annual monetary wellness assistance
• annual assistance for resolving social and household issues
