UAV Operator
Overview
The Unmanned Systems Battalion was formed in May 2024 within the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade took part in fighting in the Kherson sector and in the defense of the city of Bakhmut. Thousands of destroyed occupiers and hundreds of units of burned equipment are the result of the daily selfless work of the unit's soldiers. Join us!
Responsibilities:
- controlling strike and/or reconnaissance UAVs using specialized software and necessary equipment
- carrying out combat missions of enemy reconnaissance, adjusting fire for friendly brigade units, inflicting fire damage on the enemy, and other assigned tasks as part of the unit
- providing support for the work of other brigade units while they carry out combat missions using various UAVs
- collecting, analyzing, and summarizing intelligence obtained via UAV, transmitting it to the unit's command
- maintaining, pre-flight preparation of UAVs and their equipment, monitoring UAV technical condition, configuring necessary UAV photo/video equipment
- keeping weapons in constant combat readiness
- teamwork to guarantee the achievement of the unit's assigned combat tasks
Requirements:
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- readiness to perform tasks in the combat operations area
- practical experience operating/maintaining UAVs will be an advantage but is not mandatory
- responsibility and attentiveness to the details of assigned tasks
- a drive to achieve success in accomplishing assigned tasks and a results-oriented mindset
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- service in the combat operations zone
- guaranteed monthly monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the complexity and location of tasks
- annual additional wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
- provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
- free medical care
