Fixed-Wing UAV Operator

Overview

The "Perun" Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit's soldiers have been carrying out combat missions since June 2023 in the hottest sectors of the Donetsk and Luhansk directions — in the Serebrianske forest, Bakhmut, and Chasiv Yar — and since May 2024, in the Kharkiv region. The battalion is currently one of the most effective "unmanned" units in the Ground Forces.

Responsibilities:

• destroying enemy personnel and equipment using drop munitions and kamikaze aircraft
• conducting aerial reconnaissance and correction
• maintaining and equipping fixed-wing UAVs
• continuously improving knowledge and skills, searching for new technical solutions in the field of fixed-wing UAVs
• decoding obtained material

Requirements:

• age from 18
• basic understanding of the operating principles of fixed-wing UAVs
• ability to quickly analyze a situation and make decisions
• sociability and ability to work in a team
• readiness to perform tasks in the area where combat operations are conducted
• no alcohol or drug dependency

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• specialized training in working with fixed-wing UAVs
• leave in accordance with current legislation
• full provision of necessary gear and equipment
