Head of Repair Workshop
Overview
The vacancy involves service in the newly formed Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 162nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- organizing the workshop's operations: planning and coordinating maintenance and repair of drones and other equipment, assigning tasks to technical staff and monitoring their completion, ensuring proper functioning of workshop equipment and tools
- maintaining the technical readiness of equipment: ensuring timely repair and preventive maintenance of unmanned systems and equipment, keeping records of equipment and spare parts condition, and organizing diagnostics and troubleshooting
- providing the workshop's materiel and technical support: planning and monitoring stocks of consumables, tools, and components, submitting requests for the supply of necessary resources, maintaining order and records of materiel and technical assets
- training and managing personnel: conducting safety and technical standards briefings for workshop staff, evaluating subordinates' performance and maintaining their qualifications, ensuring compliance with safety requirements during work
Requirements:
- NCO rank
- experience in the maintenance and repair of equipment (unmanned systems or aviation equipment experience is desirable)
- knowledge of the basics of technical diagnostics and electronics repair
- confident computer proficiency for tracking technical condition and record-keeping
- proficiency in English will be an advantage
- experience managing a small technical unit will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- monetary allowance from 22,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on task complexity, rank, and place of service
