Head of Medical Station
Overview
The vacancy involves service in the newly formed Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 162nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- providing medical care: administering first aid and stabilizing the condition of casualties for further evacuation, ensuring care for ongoing illnesses and emergencies, providing medical support to personnel during missions
- organizing the operation of the medical post: coordinating subordinates' work, monitoring maintenance of sanitary and hygienic conditions and medical documentation, ensuring the availability and proper condition of medications, supplies, and equipment
- medical support planning: participating in planning the unit's medical support during tasks and training, planning medical evacuation to ensure fast and effective transportation of the wounded and sick to higher-level medical facilities, coordinating medical support actions with battalion command and other units
- preventive and sanitary-educational work: conducting preventive examinations, vaccination, and preventive measures to reduce morbidity, informing servicemen about methods of preventing infectious and other diseases
- coordinating with command and other units: aligning actions with battalion command on medical support and cooperating with other medical units to organize the evacuation and further treatment of the wounded and sick
Requirements:
- higher medical education
- rank no lower than junior lieutenant of the medical service
- experience in military medicine is desirable but not mandatory
- knowledge of the main medical protocols and the specifics of medical work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be an advantage
- experience organizing the work of medical personnel
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- support from subordinate medical personnel
- monetary allowance from 23,000 hryvnias depending on task complexity and place of service
