Senior Technician, Mortar Battery

Overview

The 109th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss" is constantly working to raise the qualifications and professional level of its service members and is introducing modern technologies. The unit has gained priceless combat experience, taking an active part in difficult operations in eastern Ukraine. Its service members have shown a high level of professionalism, courage, and dedication that has enabled them to successfully carry out their assigned missions. Over the years of service, the battalion's fighters have received numerous state awards and distinctions for the courage and heroism they displayed in carrying out combat missions. They have repeatedly been recognized at the state level for their contribution to defending the country.

Responsibilities:

• responsibility for the condition and readiness of mortars and other equipment
• ensuring timely repair and maintenance
• monitoring materiel and technical support
• maintaining accounting of ammunition, spare parts, and other materiel
• ensuring stock replenishment to established norms
• coordinating technical personnel's actions
• coordinating with the battery commander and other officials
• carrying out tasks related to preparing the battery for firing
• monitoring the readiness of mortars and other equipment

Requirements:

• secondary education in the field of military affairs
• ability to work in a team and make responsible decisions
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 23,000 to 123,000 hryvnias based on task performance and combat orders
• social guarantees
• direct assignment to the military unit, without involvement of the TCC and JP
