Chemical Defense Specialist

Overview

The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out tasks of radiation, chemical, and biological protection (reconnaissance)
• detecting, assessing, and monitoring the radiation, chemical, and biological situation
• conducting observation and performing special decontamination
• working with special devices and RCB protection equipment

Requirements:

• age from 18
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• secondary, vocational secondary/higher education
• willingness to constantly learn and develop
• education or work experience in the field of RCB (radiation, chemical, biological) protection will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care

• provision of all necessary supplies and equipment, full meals
• annual monetary wellness assistance
• annual assistance for resolving social and household issues
• Combat Veteran status
