UAV Maintenance Engineer

Overview

The 4th Assault Battalion of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kish Otaman Ivan Sirko was founded on May 8, 2022. During the Kharkiv counteroffensive, the battalion's soldiers successfully drove the enemy out of the region, and later continued to fight it in the Luhansk and Donetsk sectors, including in Bakhmut. The unit currently holds positions in northern Kharkiv region and is preparing for new victories.

Responsibilities:

• maintaining UAVs and manufacturing components
• working with drone crews
• inspecting UAVs and ensuring compliance with safety rules
• caring for equipment, keeping it in proper condition, and performing minor repairs
• reworking standard-issue ammunition for drops and kamikaze drones
• making improvised explosive devices from explosives and metal-plastic structures
• installing explosives, checking, installing, and improving detonation initiation systems

Requirements:

• age from 18
• initiative and ability to think creatively
• knowledge of basic safety principles when working with drones
• readiness to learn new technologies and improve skills
• responsible approach to performing work and ability to work in a team
• prohibition on the use of alcohol and narcotic substances
• experience working with UAVs, as a sapper, or engineer will be an advantage
• completion of sapper or UAV courses will be an advantage
• desire to constantly grow, studying changes in current technologies and mastering new ones

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service based on respect and professionalism, preservation of personnel, and continuous training within the unit
• training with instructors at the brigade base
• guaranteed assignment specifically to the 4th Assault Battalion, 92nd Assault Brigade
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• guaranteed annual main leave + for family circumstances
• all social guarantees and privileges provided by law
• gaining knowledge, abilities, and skills that will let you grow and develop professionally
• for contract servicemen - compensation of 50% of the first installment under the "eOselya" state program (for Combat Veteran status holders)
