Overview

The 1st Mechanized Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has a worthy history of defending the state on all fronts. The battalion wages a daily struggle for the independence of our state. Its service members have held the defense in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.

Responsibilities:

• detecting, identifying, and destroying explosive objects, including mines, booby traps, and explosive devices
• clearing passages through mine-explosive obstacles
• installing explosive and non-explosive engineering obstacles
• compliance with safety procedures while carrying out tasks

Requirements:

• age from 18
• readiness to perform tasks in the combat operations area
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• desire to constantly learn and improve one's abilities
• endurance and stress resistance
• high level of responsibility and discipline
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service for a term of 3-5 years
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on rank, position, and the specifics of combat task performance
