External Pilot/UAV Operator

Overview

The 143rd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based in Chernihiv region. The brigade is part of the "North" Operational Command.

Responsibilities:

• adjusting artillery fire on enemy positions and equipment
• carrying out reconnaissance missions and gathering information
• preparing UAVs for flights, checking equipment before launch
• controlling UAVs during reconnaissance and monitoring missions
• collecting and transmitting intelligence information to the command post
• performing maintenance and minor repairs of UAV equipment
• pre-flight inspection of UAVs and flight planning
• destroying the enemy using strike drones and FPVs
• conducting aerial reconnaissance
• analyzing and processing received data

Requirements:

• ability to work with mobile applications and electronic devices
• physical endurance and readiness to work in field conditions
• a high level of self-discipline
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• high level of responsibility and attention to detail
• age from 20
• readiness to work in the combat zone
• experience working with UAVs will be an advantage
• attentiveness, responsibility, and ability to make quick decisions

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• monetary allowance from 25,000 to 125,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• support for initiative, the opportunity for training, and implementing new approaches
• completion of specialized training and ongoing opportunities for development
• service as part of a combat unit with full provision
• guaranteed annual main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
