Combat Medic

Overview

The 4th Assault Battalion of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kish Otaman Ivan Sirko was founded on May 8, 2022. During the Kharkiv counteroffensive, the battalion's soldiers successfully drove the enemy out of the region, and later continued to fight it in the Luhansk and Donetsk sectors, including in Bakhmut. The unit currently holds positions in northern Kharkiv region and is preparing for new victories.

Responsibilities:

• providing first aid to wounded service members on the battlefield
• performing medical procedures and providing care for wounds, burns, fractures, and other injuries
• conducting medical examinations and maintaining medical documentation
• participating in training and exercises in medical training
• cooperating with other security forces and medical institutions

Requirements:

• age from 20 (contract service) or from 25 (mobilization)
• good physical fitness
• knowledge of the basics of medicine and first aid
• ability to work in extreme conditions and stressful situations
• skills in working with medical equipment and supplies
• ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and carry out assigned tasks
• candidates with a medical education are given preference
• candidates with knowledge of the MARCH protocol are given preference

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• financial compensation in the event of injury during combat
• guaranteed annual main leave + for family circumstances
