Overview
The 4th Assault Battalion of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kish Otaman Ivan Sirko was founded on May 8, 2022. During the Kharkiv counteroffensive, the battalion's soldiers successfully drove the enemy out of the region, and later continued to fight it in the Luhansk and Donetsk sectors, including in Bakhmut. The unit currently holds positions in northern Kharkiv region and is preparing for new victories.
Responsibilities:
- deploying communication equipment and preparing it for operation
- ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of radio equipment
- responding to technical problems and resolving them promptly
- carrying out leadership's orders and maintaining military discipline
- continuous improvement of the level of professional military knowledge, enhancing abilities and mastery
- maintaining required documentation and reporting
Requirements:
- education in a specialty related to software and/or communications
- age from 18
- fitness for service by state of health
- no dependency on alcohol or drugs
- appropriate physical and psychological condition
- no criminal record
- having a driver's license
- discipline and ability to clearly carry out orders
- skills in working with radio electronics
- ability to configure and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
- experience repairing microelectronics preferred
- computer skills (Word, Excel)
- ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, including in force-majeure circumstances
- desire to learn and grow
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring servicemen within the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the direct commander's consent
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and region of work
- mandatory basic combined-arms training
- specialized training if needed
