Assistant Grenadier

Overview

The 44th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade's soldiers have been carrying out combat missions since June 2023 in the hottest sectors of the Kharkiv direction. The brigade was the first among units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to receive the newest equipment and European weaponry.

Responsibilities:

  • assisting the grenadier in preparing the grenade launcher for combat, loading it, and supplying ammunition
  • firing small arms to cover the grenadier during combat operations
  • participating in detecting and identifying targets for engagement with grenade-launcher fire
  • transporting additional ammunition during combat
  • ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the grenade launcher and small arms in proper technical condition
  • compliance with safety measures when handling ammunition and during combat operations

Requirements:

  • age from 18
  • secondary, vocational secondary, or higher education
  • willingness to constantly learn and develop
  • responsibility and discipline
  • no criminal record
  • military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
  • service in Kyiv and Kharkiv Oblasts
  • monetary allowance from 50,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
