UAV Operator

Overview

The 44th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade's soldiers have been carrying out combat missions since June 2023 in the hottest sectors of the Kharkiv direction. The brigade was the first among units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to receive the newest equipment and European weaponry.

Responsibilities:

• controlling unmanned aerial vehicles during reconnaissance, combat, or observation missions
• conducting pre-flight preparation, inspection, and configuration of UAV systems
• ensuring the safe launch, control, and landing of UAVs in various terrain conditions
• coordinating with reconnaissance and artillery units to correct fire or provide intelligence data in real time
• ensuring the protection and preservation of technical information and communication security during flights

Requirements:

• age from 18
• secondary, vocational secondary, or higher education
• willingness to constantly learn and develop
• responsibility and discipline
• no criminal record
• experience piloting unmanned aerial vehicles will be an advantage
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• service in Kyiv and Kharkiv Oblasts
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
