UAV Operator

Overview

The 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh is a military unit of the mechanized forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions using UAVs (the UAV type depends on the unit)
• planning flights, navigating routes, knowledge of landmarks and positions
• keeping UAV technical equipment in constant combat readiness
• coordinating with adjacent units and reconnaissance
• analyzing collected data and preparing reports for further use

Requirements:

• ability to navigate terrain and read maps
• readiness to perform tasks in the combat operations area
• desire to constantly learn and improve one's abilities
• PC skills
• no acute chronic illnesses
• completion of civilian UAV pilot training courses will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on place of service
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care
• social and legal protection guarantees for servicemen and their family members
• provision of all necessary supplies and equipment, full meals
• annual monetary wellness assistance
• annual assistance for resolving social and household issues
