Scout-Rangefinder Operator
Overview
The 44th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade's soldiers have been carrying out combat missions since June 2023 in the hottest sectors of the Kharkiv direction. The brigade was the first among units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to receive the newest equipment and European weaponry.
Responsibilities:
- conducting reconnaissance operations using rangefinders and other devices to accurately determine distances to targets
- collecting and transmitting information to command about the enemy, its positions, equipment, and infrastructure
- detecting and identifying enemy objects, coordinating actions with artillery and other units to adjust fire
- working with technical measurement and reconnaissance equipment (binoculars, rangefinders, thermal imagers, laser systems)
- ensuring camouflage and safe movement during reconnaissance missions
- participating in planning reconnaissance missions and maintaining reports on completed tasks
Requirements:
- age from 18
- secondary, vocational secondary, or higher education
- readiness for continuous learning and development
- good physical fitness
- responsibility and discipline
- no criminal record
- military service experience will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- service in Kyiv and Kharkiv Oblasts
- monetary allowance from 50,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
