Platoon Combat Medic

Overview

The 44th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade's soldiers have been carrying out combat missions since June 2023 in the hottest sectors of the Kharkiv direction. The brigade was the first among units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to receive the newest equipment and European weaponry.

Responsibilities:

  • providing medical care at the platoon level
  • participating in conducting the evacuation of the sick and wounded to medical facilities and between evacuation stages
  • maintaining medical records for sick and wounded servicemen
  • maintaining accounting of the medical station's property
  • implementing measures to prevent the occurrence and spread of illness in the unit

Requirements:

  • education in the relevant medical field
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in the medical field
  • ability to provide emergency medical care: stopping bleeding, applying bandages, immobilizing injured body parts, resuscitation, and first aid
  • experience transporting the wounded to medical points or hospitals for further treatment
  • military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
  • service in Kyiv and Kharkiv Oblasts
  • monetary allowance from 50,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and place of service
